I am a computer vision researcher with a computer science background. My current research focuses on the development of an AI system to aid risk-stratified breast cancer screening, part of the Early Detection Project funded by Cancer Research UK.
Previously, my research was on automating the visual recognition of various human rights violations as part of the ESRC Human Rights, Big Data and Technology (HRBDT) Project, housed at University of Essex.
I have experience on a variety of computer vision related topics, from image classification and image interpretation to scene understanding and medical imaging. My research has appeared in the MIT Technology Review and E&T Magazine. For more information check my short bio.
